The Company@WSA is an enterprise project at Winchester school of Art that aims to connect top students who have an interest in fashion with established designers to ultimately create strategic career pathways in the fashion industry.
This July, The Company@WSA brought together twenty ambitious MA students from Winchester School of Art to work behind the scenes on the launch of “Lagos 54” the latest ‘Afro luxe’ collection from East London based designer Samson Soboye in partnership with Fashion District.
The Company@WSA became an integral part of the Soboye team. Led the social media and marketing teams on behalf of Winchester School of Art and organised the pop-up. The Company@WSA trainees experienced first-hand the key skills needed to launch a ready to wear collection, from press, marketing and merchandising to styling and casting.
We’ll post a few previews of the collection later this week, but for now, Save the Date for a very exciting Pop-up at #TheLab E20 next Saturday 29th July where you’ll be able to view (and buy) this disco fabulous collection in the style of Studio 54! Can’t wait!
